Lundy LLP Takes Action to Alleviate National Blood Shortage

Lake Charles, Louisiana, January 19, 2024 – In a proactive response to the ongoing national blood shortage, Lundy LLP hosted a successful blood drive in Lake Charles yesterday. The event, aligned with National Blood Donor Month and the Injury Board’s Day of Action, saw enthusiastic participation from the Lundy LLP team and community members alike.

As the nation faces a critical shortage in blood supply, Lundy LLP recognized the urgency of the situation and took the initiative to contribute to the solution. The blood drive, held at Lake Charles, aimed to make a significant impact on addressing this public health concern.

National Blood Donor Month, observed annually in January, is a time to recognize the lifesaving contributions of blood and platelet donors and encourage new individuals to roll up their sleeves and donate. The Injury Board’s Day of Action, a part of this month-long observance, emphasizes the collective effort needed to ensure a stable and robust blood supply for those in need.

Lundy LLP collaborated to organize a seamless and safe donation process, adhering to all necessary health and safety protocols. “We are proud to have hosted this blood drive as part of National Blood Donor Month and the Injury Board’s Day of Action. At Lundy LLP, we take pride in knowing our team of attorneys actively participate in community initiatives that touch the lives of people in the lake area.”
