Nicholas J. Kohrs

Born and raised in Sulphur, Louisiana, Nick attended McNeese State University in Lake Charles, earning a double major in Management and Marketing. While at McNeese, he served as the Student Government Treasurer, Chancellor of the Delta Sigma Pi professional fraternity, and was elected Homecoming King in 2005.  After college, Nick moved to New Orleans to attend the College of Law at Loyola University.

Nick was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar in 2011 to practice in Louisiana.  He is currently involved in multi-district litigation and practices in the areas of product liability and mass torts, including environmental litigation with significant work on the BP Oil case. He is a member of the American Association for Justice, Louisiana State Bar Association and Louisiana Association for Justice. Nick continues to reside in New Orleans with his wife, Colleen Kohrs and their child.

Community Service

Nick and his wife, Colleen, are members of the 610 Stompers which allows them to help raise funds for many local charities in the New Orleans area. Additionally, Nick has volunteered for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
